Water Parks and Public Pools Around Valencia And Castellon (2024)

Spains first water park was introduced back in 1985. Since then, it has grown to be a favourite summer hotspot for the family and fun lovers during the weekends and holidays.

During the months of June to August, Valencia can get very hot an humid. So it’s not surprising that many homes and flats have their own private or community pools. Believe me, having somewhere to cool down is a blessing when it’s 40°c outside!

Of course, with the heat, also comes the summer holidays. And there is no better plan than to spend a day in the pool with the family. Here in Valencia we have several water parks and municipal pools to choose from.

Most water parks in Valencia have similar features. They include water slides, fountains, splash pools; plus bathing and swimming activities. They also have play areas, bars, and picnic areas.

Several of them are uncovered, ideal for the summer months. They also offer classes for the children to swim, or summer schools to enrol in. Many of them also arrange fun things for the kids, such as inflatable parties, night parties, games, fiestas and much more.

On this post, I would like to share my top water park picks around Valencia and Castellón. Also including municipal pools around in Valencia. We are pretty lucky to have a wide choice and many are easily accessible by train or bus, ideal if you live in the city.
