Ameela® treatment for dull, sluggish skin, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles at The Clinic Holland Park, West London.

Ameela® is a biorevitalisation treatment for the skin that works on a deep cellular level: to hydrate, moisturise, firm and contour the skin; stimulate collagen production; and reduce damage from free radicals. Ameela® is safe for all skin types and skin tones, and can be used in combination with other treatments. Its remarkable wound-healing properties make it an excellent adjunct to surgery; while combination treatments of Ameela® with traditional dermal fillers can extend the duration of effective results by 40%.

Jennifer Doyle is the head trainer and key opinion leader for Ameela®, making us the premier destination in West London for this rejuvenating treatment.

biorevitalisation skin treatment with Ameela® West London

Ameela® can be used on the face and neck to diminish lines, wrinkles and pigmentation, and improve skin firmness and texture. In addition, Ameela® can be injected into the area under the chin to firm up a sagging jawline and reduce a double chin. Or Ameela® can be used as a revitalisation treatment for the undereye area, as a high-performance alternative to tear-trough filler, which will tackle dark circles and volume loss, as well as reduce lower eyelid puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles.

Ameela® is made from polynucleotides (PNs) derived from the DNA of salmon. PNs are a relatively new product to the aesthetics industry, and are proving popular with clients who are seeking alternatives to anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, wanting a less ‘filled’ and more natural look. As a result, the demand for PNs has soared. Injecting PNs into the skin causes bio-structuring in all tissue layers that gives a strong visible lift after just a few minutes, along with revitalising and skin-tightening effects. PNs also stimulate the body’s natural reaction in the generation of collagen, thus providing the results of fillers and anti-wrinkle injections, but without the foreign bodies and toxins.

Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers, results with Ameela® are not so ‘obvious’; nor does Ameela® set hard and in one place like a dermal filler. Ameela®s full effect will begin to show within one week, and is more like the bio-remodelling injectable Profhilo in its consistency and efficacy. So not only does Ameela® improve the microcirculation of the skin at a deep, cellular level – simultaneously detoxing and hydrating the skin; it also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, revitalising the skin through increased collagen production in the treated areas, while maintaining a natural look. In addition, the visible effects of Ameela® last for 8-9 months.

PNs and HA fillers both deliver skin rejuvenation, so combination treatments of both can have a synergistic effect in anti-ageing treatments. Both PNs and HA fillers have a strong ability to bind water, which facilitates hydration of skin and improves viscoelasticity, structure and firmness of the skin, while increasing collagen production. And while HA fillers are popular for their immediate ‘filling’ effect, Ameela® provides more natural and long-lasting effects. In combination treatments, the desired outcomes that HA fillers deliver are extended when they are combined with Ameela® – resulting in the visible effects of injectable fillers lasting up to 40% longer.

FAQs

Using a needle or cannula, Ameela® is injected into the skin. There is mild discomfort during the treatment, and (as with all injectables) a potential for swelling or bruising in the injected areas, which will have dissipated within 72 hours. A visible lifting effect will occur within the first hour of treatment, and further positive results will be discernible within 1 week of the first treatment.

For Ameela®, we usually advise a treatment programme of 2 sessions, spaced 2 weeks apart, with a review at 6 to 8 months after treatment.
