Syndicate Offers Racing Fans Another Taste of Victory (1)

“Taste of Victory Stables” - what a fitting name for this group. Those involved certainly do get a taste of victory, and everything in between. Being a part of their stable is being a part of the horse racing industry in the truest sense of the term. You feel it all - the good, the bad, and the incredible.

Kyle Yost manages the syndicate’s East Coast operation while Brian Richardson takes care of things out West. In between them, Erin O’Keefe acts as the director of operations and Russ Sapienza works as a senior advisor. Together they make a strong and knowledgeable team.

They are a team that has picked up winners from coast to coast. In Dan Blacker’s barn out in sunny California you will find the likes of Hit The Road, an impressive two-year old colt that will be running in a stakes race next out. Out East in the barn Ray Handal you will find the likes of the ever consistent and always trying Binkster as well as the beautiful three-year old filly I’llhandalthecash, who will also be running in a stakes race next out.

But it doesn’t end there, either. Phil Schoenthal, Phil D’Amato, and Ronney Brown also train for Taste of Victory. It seems as if their horses are getting better and better everyday. Each trainer puts such special and careful attention into each of Taste of Victory’s horses. Much to the excitement of the Taste of Victory team and all co-owners involved, the horses just keep winning (or coming extremely close to it).

"I think the most unique thing about Taste of Victory is the reason the syndicate started it and the way we run it. It was started as a way to share a love of racing, and we continue to keep that as a central goal in everything we do," said Director of Operations Erin O'Keefe.

"Our groups are structured to create an affordable buy in point, while still keeping the number of co-owners low enough to allow for full ownership experience. We also have an aftercare fund, that each new group adds funds to, that we use to ensure our horses all retire into the best possible situation. We are committed to providing new owners with a thorough introduction to the Thoroughbred industry and providing as much information as possible, in a fun and positive way!"

What’s even more exciting is that Taste of Victory is beginning to extend their reach. They recently announced a new group offering: The Inside Information Group.

For just $1,500, you could become a co-owner of three Taste of Victory horses. One will be in Kentucky in the barn of Kenny McPeek, one will be in California in the barn of Dan Blacker, and one will be in New York in the barn of Ray Handal. These horses are all being purchased from the yearling sales or from the spring two-year old sales.

The horse that will race in California has already been purchased! Hip #441 is a colt by No Nay Never out of Hot Legs (IRE). Taste of Victory is looking forward to this colt running at Santa Anita, Del Mar, and other West Coast venues.

Ray Handal and Oracle Bloodstock will be looking for a New York bred at the Mid-Atlantic Yearling Sale. If they don’t find one there, they will purchase one at the Two-Year Olds in Training Sale this spring. Ray Handal wins 75% of the time with Taste of Victory horses, so being a co-owner in whoever this horse will be is an incredible opportunity!

Lastly, Taste of Victory will be looking to purchase a filly at the Fasig-Tipton October Sale in Kentucky. This filly will have residual broodmare potential. Though the Inside Information Group won’t breed this filly, they will benefit from her sale when her racing career with Kenny McPeek is through!

Clearly, this group will be a great one to buy into. Not only will co-owners get to follow the career of racehorse they actually own, but they will get all owner benefits! This includes paddock and winners’ circle access, the opportunity to meet industry professionals, and visits to their horses. Co-owners will also be able to attend their horse’s training sessions out in Ocala, Florida and have Breakfast at the Track at Churchill, Santa Anita, and Belmont. In addition to that, co-owners will get to submit names for the horse that will race in Southern California.

If you buy shares by October 14th, you will get the opportunity to win a Taste of Victory Swag Bag. The first ten people to purchase ten or more shares will get a Taste of Victory Vest from Lane’s End!

Owning a horse with Taste of Victory Stables is one of the best opportunities available to those interested in racehorse ownership. 2020 is quickly approaching. With a new decade comes a time for fulfilling dreams and for new experiences.

"Any time a Binkster or a Hit the Road wins a race, our co-owners get that indescribable feeling when their hair stands up on their necks," said West Coast Managing Partner Brian Richardson. "I would love to have 500 new owners in the next few years. It would be amazing to have so many winner's circle photos for our co-owners that we couldn't fit them all in one room!"

"Most importantly, we want our people to enjoy themselves, get an extensive education in ownership, and experience all the wonderful things this sport has to offer." - Brian C. Richardson

Get involved. There’s never been a better time or better people with which to own a racehorse.
